Library of the Walery Rzewuski Museum of the History of Photography in Krakow

The article presents a library functioning at the Walery Rzewuski Museum of the History of Photography in Krakow. It describes its history, its origin and development against the background of the Museum's history. It is also an attempt to characterize the position the library occupies in the structure of the Museum. Library collections and the process of their digitization are discussed; particular collections are distinguished, with special emphasis on the collection of photography textbooks from the first half of the twentieth century, as well as autographs and dedications.
