Participation of the Main Library of the Pedagogical University in Cracow in the activities of children’s universities

The article presents the idea of establishing Children’s Universities, and in particular, the focus is on the University for Children and Parents at the Pedagogical University in Cracow and the Wadowice Children's University. The cooperation between these institutions and the Main Library of the Pedagogical University is described; the activities carried out are discussed and the importance of consolidating reading habits in children is highlighted. The aim of the cooperation was to present the library as a place that participates in and supports the actions organized by the University.
